Caring For People
Who Care For People

We live by this simple yet powerful principle.

It's our way of life, as we wholeheartedly pursue a deep love for God and extend that love to all people.

With open arms and compassionate hearts, we embrace diversity, foster genuine relationships, and strive to make a positive impact in the world.

Our Core Values

The pillars of how we operate.

At Our Father’s Ranch, everything we do flows from a foundation of faith, stewardship, and restoration.

We value the stillness of creation — a space where hearts can rest and reconnect with God. We believe in biblical truth, letting Scripture guide how we work, live, and lead. We are committed to stewardship, caring for the land, animals, and people entrusted to us. And above all, we desire that every person who steps onto this land would experience renewal — body, mind, and spirit — through the love and presence of Jesus.

Discipleship

We are committed to raising up disciples through real-life experience, Christ-centered mentorship, and the truth of God’s Word.

Stewardship

We care deeply for what’s been entrusted to us — the land, the animals, and the people — practicing thoughtful, sustainable, faith-led stewardship.

Renewal

We believe in creating space for people to rest, reflect, & be restored — through the presence of God and the beauty of creation.

Meet Our Founders
Bonnie Summers

Bonnie began her career out of college working in the business world for 10 years as an Estimator/Project Manager for a steel construction company. For the past 30 years Bonnie has found her heart and real vocation caring for people in her professional life as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and now as a Spiritual Director. She continues to maintain private practices in the states of Oregon and California for her Professional Christian Counseling and Spiritual Direction practices.

Bonnie’s professional training in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction includes receiving Certifications from the Renovare Institute for Christian Spiritual Formation and Sustainable Faith.

As a little girl, Bonnie loved growing up watching old westerns with her dad and learning the gifts of hospitality from her mom. She now feels blessed to be actually living a simple, “old-fashioned life” at Our Father’s Ranch. She has loved being married to her best friend and soul mate, Scott for the past 39 years and enjoys their two adult children, daughter in law, son in law and three beautiful granddaughters.

Scott Summers

Scott grew up in Northern California where he spent summers and many holidays working on his Grandpa and Uncle’s Ranches. After graduating from High School in Los Gatos he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and went on to receive a B.S. from the State of California Maritime Academy.

Upon graduation from the Academy Scott worked on an Oil Tanker and an Ocean Going Tug Boat. Once Scott met Bonnie he was much more interested in staying closer to home and became a Land Lubber.  Subsequently, he began a career in steel construction, first as a Project Manager and then as a Field Ironworker and Superintendent for 25 years.

Scott now drives a school bus, works at a custom sawmill and cares for the ranch. Living and working on a ranch has been a life long dream of Scotts. He and Bonnie hope to share their love of the Lord and his creation with you and your loved ones at Our Father’s Ranch.
